Andrew was appointed to Director, Corporate Human Resources & Labour Relations in July 2024. Prior to this role, Andrew held the position of Director, Human Resources & Labour Relations Blue Water Rail Services where he assisted with collective bargaining and led workforce planning initiatives. Andrew has also worked with Seaspan Marine Group, where he held the position of Employee Relations Manager with Seaspan’s Tug & Barge and Ferries divisions. In this role, he led and co-led the negotiation of multiple collective agreements.
Prior to Seaspan, Andrew worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway as a Labour Relations Advisor before transitioning into a Labour Relations Manager. He was also an Assistant Trainmaster, as well as the Port Coordinator in Vancouver. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a Minor in Economics from McGill University. He also holds a Master of Industrial Relations degree from Queen’s University.
