Kris Smail joined SRY in February of 2016 and is responsible for human resources, labour relations and health and safety leadership for the company. Prior to joining SRY, Kris spent over 15 years working with notable organizations such as Intrawest ULC and Masonite International. He also held human resources roles in the pulp and paper and waste management industries. Kris holds his Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation and completed his education through BCIT. Kris currently sits on the Railway Association of Canada Human Resources Committee.
